While the NPCA 2005 watershed plan for One Mile Creek focused on the residential area of Old Town, in 2008 a separate study surveyed conditions of other creeks including Two Mile Creek, Four Mile Creek, Six Mile Creek and Eight Mile Creek. These have been primarily in agricultural areas in the past but are now also affected by residential development pressures.
